The Road to Recovery and Growth Continues

To uphold its commitment to provide healthy, superior genetics to local pig producers, PIC Philippines formally entered into a long-term partnership with JG Agroventures, Inc. through a Daughter Nucleus Multiplication Agreement.

The event highlighted a big step towards achieving the swine industry’s goal of repopulating farms in Luzon in the coming years.

JG Agroventure’s modern farm aims to have an eventual capacity of 5,000 sows in its 80-hectare land area located in Quezon, Nueva Ecija and completion is targeted by the second quarter of this year. Once ready, it will be initially stocked with imported PIC great-grandparent (GGP) breeders, which shall form the nucleus for the multiplication and eventual distribution of much-needed breeders for commercial pig production.
